Barb Halpenny, Management DevelopmentMiddle Managers
Statement on Coaching
I enjoy coaching middle managers wanting to develop effective working relationships and who want to use their strengths and natural talents to achieve results.
I support my clients in finding their confidence and motivation again, whether it’s re-entering the workplace, or first-time new managers who recently made the step to management who then say…now what? They may have doubts, worry and fear in their new positions, but will soon rediscover their passion, courage and motivation and focus on why they got the job in the first place. I boldly, yet gently help my clients create a clear thinking space to enable them to move forward; to embrace their new roles, to enjoy the process and be good to themselves.
My experience in business has given me a great perspective on how organizations work; the challenges of managing staff, the excitement and pain of implementing change and the satisfaction of making a difference. I have over 25 years’ experience in human resource management, training and communication, project management, consumer service marketing, and customer service. I have held several leadership positions enabling me to provide experience in strategic planning, implementation of policies and procedures as well as project assessment.
